Cookies/Cookie Cake
- 2 Cup - All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon - Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon - Baking Soda
- 3/4 teaspoon - Cinnamon, Ground
- 1/2 teaspoon - Salt
- 1 Cup (2 Sticks) - Butter, softened
- 1 Cup - Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
- 1 Cup - Sugar, Granulated
- 2 Eggs
- 2 teaspoon - Vanilla Extract
- 1.5 Cups - Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup - Chopped Walnuts (optional)
- Preheat Oven to 350' F
- In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, & salt; mix well.
- In large bowl, beat butter and sugars, with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs & vanilla; mix well. Add flour mixture & mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips (& walnuts if desired).
- Either drop by teaspoons onto cookie pans, or spread evenly onto large 17.25"x11.5"x1" pan to make into cookie cake.
- Bake for 9-10 mins (for cookies) ~OR~ 10-15 mins (for cookie cake) {For both: cook until the tops 'pop' sorta like a souffle. You'll know what I'm talking about when they are cooking and almost done. It'll be a rich dark brown color}
- Take out & let sit for about 10 mins to cool.
